This song was introduced in the 1931 revue "The Laugh Parade" and has
been sung in films " You're My Everything" (1939 starring Dan Dailey);
"Painting the Clouds With Sunshine" (1951 starring Dennis Morgan); and
"The Eddy Duchin Story" (1956 starring Tyrone Power and Kim Novak).
The song also charted in 1931 by the Arden-Ohman Orchestra at #10, and
was recorded by Nat "King" Cole and charted, I think, but haven't found
any record of when or where.

Lyrics by Mort Dixon and Joe Young
Music by Harry Warren

A Mickey McBride Arrangement

Refrain

YOU’RE MY EVERYTHING, UNDERNEATH THE SUN,

YOU’RE MY EVERYTHING, ROLLED UP INTO ONE,

YOU’RE MY ONLY DREAM, MY ONLY REAL REALITY,

YOU’RE MY IDEA OF A PERFECT PERSONALITY,

YOU’RE MY EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING I NEED,

YOU’RE THE SONG I SING, AND THE BOOK I READ,

YOU’RE A-WAY BEYOND BELIEF, AND JUST TO MAKE IT BRIEF,

YOU’RE MY WINTER, SUMMER, SPRING, MY EVERYTHING.

(Repeat Refrain)
